Zane Sinno

  

Zane Sinno (AUB) is a lecturer and a program coordinator in the Communications Skills Program in the Department of English. Her areas of interest involve the use of technology in the language classroom. In fact, she was among the pioneers of blended learning at AUB and has designed and taught a Business Communication MOOC in a joint venture between AUB and Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development on EDRAAK (the learning management platform). Sinno has also been a constant member of the editorial team (and twice chief editor) of a reader for Academic English published by the Department of English at the American University of Beirut. Her other areas of interest include the study of language, power, and globalization (the topic of her doctorate dissertation ) and transnational student collaborative writing.
